- Provide an interface with the academic world on one side (scouting, cooperation), and with the application laboratories of Allnex and its customers on the other side, as well as play a general active role in suggesting technology solutions within the Allnex Technology community.
- Actively participate in promoting Allnex technology at conferences, and to contribute to its protection through patent applications.
- Be an active participant of literature tracking activity and present findings in regular meeting. And give support to local team with collected information on specific technology field. Evaluate freedom to operate and involvement in allnex IP process for new developments.
- Responsible for contributing to new projects as project manager/leader aimed at medium to long term innovations .
- Guide lab technician on new developed technology and the process of cooking new products.
- Preparation of sales tools and launch package for new technology and new product promotion.
- Prepare and present new technology and new solutions in both internal &external meetings & seminars.
- Provide powerful support to plant in the case of new product scaling up and make sure smoothly moving new product to commercialization.
- Creativity, communication and team-player skills are considered essential for success in this position.

Education:
- PhD / Master education in organic, polymer or colloid chemistry, with affinity for and practical experience on the preparative side
- able to combine organic/polymer chemistry core expertise with good working knowledge of colloid, physical and analytical chemistry
- actively interested in new developments in the world of academic as well as industrial chemistry.

Experience:
- Master +4Y / PhD+2 years or more direct experience in related technologies (polyacrylate \ polyurethane \ polyimide \polyester \ epoxy etc.) from industrials of battery / coating or adhesive. Direct experience of developing polymers for battery or adhesive industries will be preferred.

- Proven creativity and innovativeness
- Able and willing to co-operate with various disciplines as well as with other chemists and physicists
- Active reader of relevant open scientific literature as well as patent literature
- A trouble-shooter with good resilience.
- Good written and interpersonal communication skills, fluent in English.
- Result orientated, able to prioritize and meet deadlines. like to work in an international industrial, business driven environment.
