Position Summary:
The responsibilities of the Principal Process Engineer (Principal Technical Professional – Process) include:
· Responsible for the study, design, and specification and services related to process plants such as FCC, Ammonia, Olefins, Chemicals, Coal Gasification, etc.
· Lead the PDP (Process Design Package) and BED (Basic Engineering Design) teamin Beijing
· Provide guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
· May also be responsible for advanced controls/process optimization.
Requirements:
With process engineering working experience in China Design Institute or Multinational Engineering & Consulting company, such as simulation, heat and material balance, the development of process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, system design parameters, and design or rating of equipment and apparatus such as heat exchangers, vessels, reactors, etc
Good working knowledge and experience in Engineering Tools such as Aspen Plus / Pro II / Hysys, HTRI and Aspen PIMS.
Prerequisites:
· Bachelor degree in Refining or Chemical Engineering and/or Masters
· Minimum 10 years related work experience
· Able to apply advanced engineering techniques independantly with minimal supervision and good leadership skills
· Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and a team player with pro-active attitude.
· Fluent in Chinese and English languages (both written and oral)
