Coordinates and provides cost-effective Electrical engineering services to the manufacturing facilities.
Job Dimensions
1. This position reports to Head of Electrical Engineering; work closely with other electrical engineer in the team and MF operation team, MF maintenance team and external electricity technical engineer, government officer etc.
2. Take lead to provide technical support to operation and maintenance in line with CSPC standards, C1 and C2.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Ensures compliance to HSE standards and requirements to make the plant a safe place to work in.
2. Provides within own discipline specialist engineering expertise in terms of technical support and development to any facility, including support to projects.
3. Evaluates new systems and procedures, advises regarding applications and supports introduction thereof.
4. Identifies, shares and applies Best Practices.
5. Contributes to policy formulation in the specialist engineering discipline.
6. Supervises contractor staff, assesses their performance and influences them to achieve best possible results against agreed standards.
7. Coaches electrical engineering staff, contributing to their personal and professional development.
Qualifications. 1. Educational background: Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering or related subject.
2. Work experience:
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience in the specialist discipline.
• Familiarity with operations / maintenance practices and economics.
3. Language proficiency: Have ability or potential to use English as the working language.
4. PC skills: Proficient in PC skills.
