Job Purpose
Plans, coordinates, and supervise or executes cost-effective machinery services to the manufacturing facilities
Job Dimensions
1. This position report to Head of Rotating Equipment, work very closely with MFEM, MF operation team, HSEQ internally, and equipment vendor or services specialist externally.
2. He will work with operation team & maintenance team and provide support on trouble shooting, failure analysis, and incident report in his service plants.
3. Rotating equipment team has 15 staff and provide support for two chemical site C1 & C2, where adapt two technical design principles.
4. In CSPC site, there are more than 500 large rotating equipment, including over 4 sets large scale compressors.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Ensure compliance to HSE standards and requirements to make the plant a safe place to work in.
2. Assist in the Reliability Centered Maintenance studies to derive at timely preventive measures.
3. Develop inspection and monitoring program that could predict rotating equipment degradation.
4. Coordinate and execute machinery inspection and condition monitoring activities and ensure they are duly completed.
5. Review/improve spare parts stocking policy necessary to support the overall RE maintenance strategy.
6. Assist in failure analyses in order to find out the root causes and avoid recurrence of failure.
7. Provide within own discipline specialist engineering expertise in terms of technical support and development to any facility, including support to projects.
8. Appreciate and apply Best Practices.
9. Contribute to policy formulation in the specialist engineering discipline.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Educational background:
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject.
2. Work experience:
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the oil, gas or petrochemical plants.
3. Language proficiency:
· Have ability to use English as the working language.
4. PC skills:
· Proficient in PC skills.
