Job Requirements
• Create project accounts in SAP, and close out project accounts upon project completion
• Support to develop the Financial Control Plan and Controls Calendar; Assist with Contract / Bid Reviews and coordinate/support Contractor Audits as needed
• Support Project Controller to execute Controls Calendar Activities per schedule and steward results timely including ensuring closure of gaps; reviews and assesses project team, contractor, and subcontractor control systems (payroll, subcontracts, material, and equipment) and related field controls.
• To work with Project Controller to establish processes to ensure compliance with Contract terms and oversight of invoice verification processes associated with EPC and other project Contracts including analyzing & reporting variances associated with contract terms and/or expected payments
• Responsible for the accurate accounting/recording of project expenditures including accruals; monitor current and historical progress of project spend; maintain oversight to ensure compliance to Capital versus Expense ruling
• Support Financial Close and related Financial Reporting & relevant Balance Sheet Reconciliation (if applicable) associated with Retention Money, Deposits, Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantee, etc.
• Support development of fixed assets register, ensure Project Close-out Plan for timely recognition of Fixed Assets and associated Depreciation expense including accurate accounting for surplus/abandoned assets
• Collaborate with Tax Advisors to establish process under guidance of Project Controller or Project Senior Financial Analyst to monitor application of VAT, WHT, Property or Similar Taxes and Incentives

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or business administration and/or engineering from a recognized university
• Demonstrated work experience in Controllers, Accounting, Financing, or Business Administration
• Analytical Skills (Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions / to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several variables)
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Access) and other supporting systems
• Able to provide support for multiple projects simultaneously
