Responsibility:
1.Commercial administration of relevant project/contract in accordance with all relevant Amec Foster Wheeler commercial policies and procedures;
2.Commercial administration of relevant project/contract in accordance with Amec Foster Wheeler commercial policies and procedures in order to ensure that commercial entitlement is pursued and obtained in accordance with the terms of the contract;
3.Maintain and promote a safe working environment;
4.Input to CRB approval process;
5.Contract administration in accordance with Amec Foster Wheeler commercial policies and procedures;
6.Project invoicing in accordance with terms and conditions of contract such that cash position maximised;
7.Cost/value reporting and end life forecasting on project in accordance with Amec Foster Wheeler policies and procedures such that the appropriate values are reflected in the management accounts;
8.Submission of variation and contract amendment requests and claims in accordance with contract requirements;
9.Agreement of final accounts and close out of contracts in accordance with contract requirements;
10.Placement and administration of sub-contracts in accordance with relevant Amec Foster Wheeler policies and procedures and in a manner which optimises Amec Foster Wheeler's commercial position;
11.Provision of commercial and contractual advice to project team;
12.Preparation of Client cost reports;
13.Administration of KPI scheme in accordance with terms of contract;
14.Build up of revised contract rates and prices;
15.Submission of contractual notices in accordance with the terms of the contract;
16.Ensuring that bonds and guarantees are released in accordance with their terms;
17.Control of project costs;
18.Ensuring that payments to Amec Foster Wheeler are made in accordance with the terms of the contract;
19.Input to project risk management techniques;
20.Evaluation and settlement of sub-contractor claims;
21.Preparation of correspondence in connection with project contractual matters.
Qualification:
1.University graduate or above in Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Studies or other appropriate discipline;2.Minimum 10 years working experience in commercial roles in the oil and gas industry;
3.Membership of a professional institution (eg RICS) desirable but not absolutely essential;
4.Specific competencies to be in accordance with Amec Foster Wheeler commercial management competence scheme.
